TAPP (Tumaini AIDS Prevention Program) is a grassroots response of local and global communities, where friendship and creative empowerment is breathing new life in the midst of the AIDS Pandemic. Hand-made artwork, local gardens and projects, and relationships of solidarity are seeking restoration in community care and the holistic power of hope.

This story is about AIDS, but it is also a story about identity in a world of some who are told they matter, many who are told they don’t, and the transformation we all go through when we respond with compassion and celebrate those absurd moments of joy in a broken world.
